I have a passion for public education, reculturing school/classroom environments, and for ensuring learning opportunities are inviting, engaging, and empowering for each participant within any learning community.I welcome all forms of diversity, invite innovation, and ensure a sense of belonging.Leveraging technologies and virtual spaces as well as vibrant in-person off-site community environments (well beyond the ‘traditional’ four walls of typical classrooms), my diverse career experiences (and learning/research pursuits) have allowed me to maximize the human potential of young people. Incredible learning happens when passions are invigorated through careful and thoughtful coordination of educator teams, where each learner is authentically known, and where meaningful partnerships can flourish, especially between professional educators and parents/guardians and with local community supports/expertise.My most recent educator experiences as a school administrator have taught me how to authentically connect with learners and colleagues, ensuring a love for learning is instilled, fostering a desire for life-long learning.
