I have been in the food manufacturing industry for 7 years as a Maintenance mechanic. During those 7 years I have learned various skills related to my industry, for instance TIg weld, fabrication, electrical troubleshoot better understanding on PLC systems. In my current place of work I have moved up from a level 2 technician to a team lead and took on the roll of special engineer in charge of our boilers in my first 2 years. In my team lead roll I’m in charge of keeping the shift on track and accomplishing any and all things assigned to me by my manger and supervisor, my most recent assignment was getting a new piece of equipment into the production process from a quote to working order on the production line. In my special engineer in charge roll I’m responsible for record keeping and insuring all daily tasks are completed by my operators and being the main contact with the state.
