Selected/volunteered to be part of a small group of players selected by ArenaNet to test and give feedback on upcoming changes to "Guild Wars" online game.Duties involved testing upcoming changes, reporting feedback to the developers, and participating in brainstorming / theorycrafting sessions via forums and voice-chat.Selected based on expertise in game theory and competitive gameplay. Mainly worked on player-versus-player game balance.

Designed, implemented, and tested various technical systems for fan-made online world in Bioware's "Aurora" game engine.Used Aurora's scripting language to create systems such as an auction house similar to eBay, a crafting system which allowed players to modify their in-game items, and a system which allowed character dialogue to be generated on demand based on the current game state.Work involved interacting with databases, setting up user-friendly interfaces via in-game dialogue, and interpreting game object specifications provided by the original developer.
