The Power Delivery Department of Kiewit Engineering Group, Inc. provides full service transmission and substation engineering, design, and EPC services for Electrical Utility clients throughout North America. Our East Region office is located in Raleigh, North Carolina, which allows us to better serve our clients within the Eastern Time Zone.

Responsible for the management and oversight of project execution for Transmission and Substation engineering operations. Manage Power Delivery Project Management and Controls team. Coordinate operations with remote offices.

Responsible for the management and growth of the Transmission Engineering Department.Develop and maintain client relations.Coordinate staffing for project execution.Manage remote offices.

Responsible for growing the Transmission Department.Develop and maintain client relations.Establish and maintain project schedules and coordinate client updates.Prepare and track project budgets.Oversee design of Transmission and Distribution Lines.Provide conceptual design and estimation for EPC projects.Develop and review comprehensive specifications and contracts for material procurement.Assemble and review construction labor contracts and coordinate bidding processes.

Manage PLS-CADD Transmission Design Department.Prepare and track departmental and project budgets.Establish and maintain project schedules and coordinate client updates.Develop and maintain client relations.Design Transmission & Distribution Lines utilizing PLS-CADD suite of software.Create and maintain standard estimation programs used to develop construction budgets.Develop and review comprehensive specifications and contracts for material procurement.Assemble and review construction labor contracts and coordinate bidding processes.

Project Manager - Transmission and distribution EPC Manage client coordination and design of EPC projects from initial planning to final commissioning.Manage procurement of transmission and distribution material for company wide EPC projects.Establish and maintain strategic alliances with material and construction vendors.Produce and track project schedules and maintain coordination between EPC project team.Develop monthly cost and schedule reports for client.Coordinate status update meetings between client and EPC project team.

Utility ConstructionPrepare comprehensive labor and material cost estimates for bidding purposes.Manage the construction of government projects.Prepare critical path method schedule to track progress of projects.Coordinate and manage procurement of contractor furnished material.Coordinate and manage subcontractors.
