- Maintain and develop software systems utilized to control manufacturing processes- Design and implement new process control systems as driven by new product development for the facility as well as modifications to existing processes- Perform system upgrades to keep current with hardware and software that is still supported by the manufacturer or developer- Maintain the upkeep of process control computers, software licensing agreements, and backups of software files to minimize downtime of manufacturing equipment- Provide formatted data to the technical and process groups as requested- Solve quality and production issues associated with process control systems and develop software to diagnose quality and manufacturing issues- Provide process control systems support for plant operations, including analyzing, designing, installing, configuring, maintaining and repairing network, server, security, and desktop network infrastructure- Provide support and on call functions to assist in advanced troubleshooting as required to minimize downtime of production operations
