* Technical Leader with the ability to bring people together to solve tough problems utilizing technical knowledge and experience, coaching, and mentorship. * Action Oriented Collaborator who will work together with Leadership, Product, Design, and other partners to find excellent solutions to ambiguous problems in order to drive the business forward. * Managed a talent-rich team of engineers that worked to build out a low-code platform from it’s infancy to being used by multiple large financial institutions for a wide variety of financial products in just a couple of years. * Led a team of engineers who were responsible for the application platform at Blend that supported Blend’s Mortgage Business, which handled roughly 1/3 of all mortgages in the US. * I managed teams through tough periods where layoffs resulted in teams that had to be merged, and I was tasked to manage the merged teams at both Blend and Pandora. At Pandora, this resulted in me managing a team of 14 engineers for roughly one year until a new manager could be hired.* Led a team that was responsible for Pandora’s catalog and content service which served content metadata and audio to listeners to 5 million concurrent listeners per day. * As a technical lead at Pandora, I led a group of engineers in building a service that matched content coming in from music labels to Pandora’s legacy catalog, utilizing audio fingerprinting and machine learning with human feedback to maximize match accuracy. This enabled us to ensure we paid labels and publishers accurately and also ensured the existing recommendation algorithms could recommend the best music for listeners.
