I had the opportunity to work with Marriott's Maui Ocean Club, affiliated with Marriott Vacations Worldwide. I worked primarily in the Food and Beverage department as a Food Expeditor.I have also started my training as a server, store room clerk, as well as job shadowing alongside the chef, managers, and supervisors within the Food and Beverage department. I also had the opportunity to rotate to the Housekeeping department and Starbucks Coffee.At the end of the internship, I presented a Food and Beverage project to 50 hotel executives. I identified common problems in the Food and Beverage operation and created a way to achieve higher guest satisfaction and greater consistency.
