Serve as mentor to inexperienced/new salespeople, help with carrier mix, underwriting guidelines, and general carrier questions Continue to maintain property & casualty license by attending continuing education studies and keeping up to date with any changes in the industryResponsible for over $5,000,000 in renewed premium as a licensed agent by cross selling various insurance products as well as ensuring customers are adequately covered.Ability to cross and up-sell various insurance products including homeowners, automobile, renters, flood, umbrella, and personal articles floater.Maintain relationships with underwriters and keep up to date with regulations of each of the carriers we work with.Handle inbound sales and customer service calls quickly and professionally as well as make outbound sales calls. Manage existing clientele, advising in insurance needs and any updates in the industry, re-marketing to new carriers when appropriate Familiar with over 30 different insurance companies products/systemsRetain over 5,000 current policyholders by matching customers needs with specific programs offered by insurance carriers.
