Many will know that the quickest way from A to B is a straight line, however, the journey from A to B is the most interesting part. My years of experience have included hands on construction work in homes and in heavy highway, missions overseas and charity work, business and leadership development, and for the past 9 years, heavy highway inspection, contract management, and design.I bring a full tool belt (figuratively speaking) to the marketplace. Starting out in various intern roles, first in construction with Kiewit, then in a Human Resource and Engineering Intern Role at Bechtel, I was able to learn technical and interpersonal skills vital for successful projects. I then had the opportunity to learn construction site survey from the ground up on the Black Hills Energy plant outside of Pueblo, Colorado.As I began to build a resume, I realized a solid foundation was needed to build upon no matter what you do. I then spent 3 years with a Bible College and Ministry, building not only a solid character that benefits everyone in today's market, but in applying my skills in a interpersonal and technical capacity on missions to Eastern Europe and Uganda.Once finished at Charis Bible College, I stepped into my Civil Engineering career in full force at TSH Engineering (acquired in 2018 by RS&H). In the past 9 years, I have had the privilege to be involved in many heavy highway projects for clientele such as CDOT, City and County of Denver, City of Westminster, and City of Fort Collins. I have experience in multiple project delivery methods to include CMGC and Design Build. I have gained valued experience in structures and safety critical work.I am always open to new challenges and experiences, and I am always looking for places to grow. It is my goal to work into a position that I get to combine my love for engineering and construction, my desire to improve and change communities in which I work, good business sense, a dash of entrepreneurial spirit, and my ability to work with all different types of people.
