I am a transportation operations manager with 14 years of experience in the private fleet field. I focus on the daily operations of drivers, shop maintenance, and office staff. This involves making sure deliveries are delivered on time and staffing of drivers and equipment are in line of business needs. In the fall of 2014 I helped lead the start up of the private fleet for my company near Charlottesville, Virginia. This was to service our stores in the District of Columbia that required special permits and equipment to drive in. Our team was successful in the start up while building relationships with local leaders in the District of Columbia.I enjoy the transportation field because the drivers have such great personalities and tell some crazy stories of life out on the road. Everyday brings something new to the table for me to challenge myself. Whether its working on the P&L or getting a call from a driver that needs a dispatch, I enjoy taking on the challenges that come my way.
