Assist care team in patient pre-visit preparations, contacts patient as directed. Assists patients with scheduling tests and referrals as needed. Obtain and verify all required information from patients including demographic, insurance, etc. Assists parents or patient in completing forms and consents. Follows established Check-in and Check-out procedures including charge entry. Scans, indexes and flowsheets all incoming documents to the patients EMR per practice process. Closes EMR orders, labs and/or referrals as appropriate. Assists Practice Manager with Physician Dashboard. Document follow-up in Performance Improvement Module for needed preventative and chronic care services.

Prepare and maintain treatment areas. Administer physical exercises, massages and tractions to relieve patients from pain and assist to gain their strength. Evaluate the effects of Physical therapy sessions and making note of patient progress. Instruct patient on the positioning of TENS Unit (electrical nerve stimulator) and usage of Ultrasound machine.
