• Founded Dedicated Dining Services (DDS) on three principals; deliver a great culinary experience every day. Give over the top guest service and always listening to the needs of our clients and associates. • Responsible for raising capital, identifying mergers and acquisitions, development and marketing of internal brands, strategic planning, contract negotiations, budgeting, and community projects. • DDS was built on a strong culinary foundation with two main tenants: fresh food and zero processed items.• Our programs were not limited to café dining; we had a fully operational vending division with over 350 custom machines that would vend our full meals.• DDS was one of the first companies in Northeast Ohio and Western Pennsylvania that offered home meal replacement. Our meal replacement program was designed for professional people who don’t have time to cook. This program generated roughly 500K in its first year and it reduced our waste factor by almost 90% resulting in a food cost savings of over 6%• First year of business generated profit $1.5M, and revenues toped $47M prior to the sale of the company• Hired, trained, mentored and promoted 21 outstanding Directors and Chefs• Developed and implemented strategies that increased net profit by 9.5% YOY• Built revenue from catering to over $1.5 million & increased vending 234% to $650,000 per year

• Directly responsible for 10 College and University foodservice accounts with sales exceeding 50M• Designed cost control systems related to food and labor that resulted in a 2.5M cost savings to the company in its first year of implementation.• Worked on the strategic planning commission for Aramark and aided in the development of a 10 year plan which targeted emerging markets as well as future challenges in current markets.• Worked on developing 8 branded concepts• Increased annual sales by $900,000 in the first 5 months• Directly oversaw 12 operations directors

• Responsible for opening and overseeing all food service operation for a three hospital system which consisted of patient services, retail café operations and catering.• The Suma Health Care system had 800 beds spread over three campuses.• Responsible for all aspects of a 10M budget• Directly oversaw a staff of 150• Was a part of the design team that created and implemented the first “room service” concept in patient feeding• Through the implementation of the “Room Service” style of patient feeding we increased patient satisfaction scores by 23% in year one and 35% in year two. Correspondingly we decreased our paper and disposable usage by over 11% in the first six months of implementation.• Responsible for assisting in the oversight of all foodservice operations conducted inside the hotel and its property.• Operations consisted of a full service casual dining restaurant; fine dining steak house, 24 hr room service, catering and meeting coffee service.• Total sales from food services exceeded 25M annually• I worked directly on a number of high profile events during my tenure with the hotel, in which we were the host hotel for the MLB All Star game, Rock N Roll Induction ceremonies for Michael Jackson and the Jackson Five as well as the NBA All Star game.• Catering sales for weddings and bar mitzva’s exceeded 3-5 M annually; total catering and special event sales exceeded 10-12M annually.• Acted as the MOD on a number of occasions.
