HiFive’s AI-powered hybrid work assistant brings new meaning to “working smart.” As hybrid teams use HiFive, we learn their work preferences. Then, we match compatible coworkers powered by AI behind the scenes, encouraging them to connect and meet up in person (or virtual). With coordination out of the way, hybrid teams have more time to connect and collaborate with HiFive.I lead the engineering efforts on this project. With an engineering team of 16, we are working to integrate key technologies in an event-driven serverless strategy on AWS. We currently work with mostly TypeScript driven solutions leveraging Slack, Google, LinkedIn and OpenAI in addition to our core serverless architecture on AWS built with AppSync, API Gateway, EventBridge, Lambdas, DynamoDB, etc.
