Supervisor of the UNM College of Pharmacy Accounting office. Coordinating fiscal operations central to the College's administrative areas: IT, HR, Academic Operations, Curricular Office, Experiential Office, Student Affairs, and OSCE Labs. I oversee the fiscal operations of the College's special units including our Translational Radiopharmacy operation and our Clinical Affairs consultancy and clinical practice. My day-to-day includes the following: design reports, perform assessments, and present to leadership (Deans, Directors, and Department Chairs) within a complex revenue-stream operation of tuition dollars, state and federal funds, medical billing, etc. with a budget of $22M per fiscal year. Coordinate the fiscal year schedules and delegation of routine activities within the budget, finance, and accounting areas. Educate and assist other departments with the more technical aspects of modern accounting pertaining to querying, organizing, and reporting large data sets from UNM's ERP, utilizing Elucian's Banner, Information Builder's InfoAssist, Taleo, etc., for extensive analysis and projections by applying my background in statistics and data query (primarily SQL). Demonstrated experience with change management serving on the implementation team for our reconciliation platform Chrome River, adopting new technology across the entire University; high-level committee dynamics, impact analysis, mass communications, mass training, and a delegated support model with the ongoing success of our Chrome River 'Champions' operation. Currently serves as the Chairperson for the UNM College of Pharmacy Staff Development Committee, serves on the national AACP AFO-SIG Executive Committee and Education Committee. Drawing upon experience of writing over 300 custom financial reports, lead significant automation efforts to better inform decision makers at every level.

Organizing and coordinating budget projections and labor distributions for a diverse group of operations within the UNM College of Pharmacy. Implementing various revenue and expenditure controls relative to any given unit’s funding sources, e.g. fiscal monitoring of restrictions that are associated with spending tuition dollars, tuition differential dollars, state allocations, federal grants, realized revenue from medical consulting activities, etc. I evaluate our accounts receivable transactions, billing reconciliation, aging reports for a variety of state, grant, and contract activities. Designed complex analysis tools and statistical evaluation for understanding state appropriation variances via complex formulas provided by NM Higher Education and our University's Budget Office. Author of several internal procedures, articulating adherence to university policy within College activities. Continually improving numerous college wide processes including digitizing large data sets tied to budget processes. Lead learning seminars that educate staff and faculty. Designing workflows and forms that ensure adherence to policy while minimally burgeoning the originator (customer), complex Excel spreadsheet composition for analysis, adopting web technology and Adobe systems to ease process flow. Awarded leader in technology adoption: serving on the implementation team for a new systems wide financial software, Chrome River, and subsequently serving as a department champion post-release, community leader in report writing in InfoAssist (MyReports), team lead on LEAN process improvement initiatives for University-wide Pcard Reconciliations. My routine activities include procurement (purchasing), accounting (journal entries), budget planning, and account reconciliations. There is a high level of through-put that requires strong organization, prioritization and logistics management. I serve students, faculty, administrators and external parties with their need to meet federal, state requirements, university policies, and internal procedures. I also assist in the reporting of budget, financial, and personnel activities by offering assistance with computational data management, metrics, and report writing. I've computed projected state allocation distributions by applying Monte Carlo simulation methods to build a data set of funding outcomes to assess downside risk scenarios from our primary funding sources. I chair the College's Process Improvement Committee. Our mission is to improve established procedures and implement more efficient methods of workflow. Our current projects include implementing a centralized online ticketing system to serve procurement and travel requests, generating summary reports on accounts based on scripted database queries, and improvement to documentation of policies and procedures.

Budgeting, designing, and executing marketing campaigns via social networks, email, web content, print and community-based programs. This included database management and developing the reporting and processing business logic in a point of sale system to track the progress of redeemable incentives and brand loyalty. Financial reporting for projects and operational sustainability. Co-Authored Policy and Procedures Manuals which implemented cost-saving, fraud-preventing routines and guidelines for sales associates and sales managers at Verizon authorized retail locations. I maintained several social media accounts, google places accounts, along with the web site, server, content platform, SEO, and content in general.

Web Development with experience in server hosting, web applications, managing online advertising alongside content-based SEO and social media accounts. Specific languages include server-side development in PHP, building queries for MySQL, and Content Management Systems (Joomla, Drupal, and Word Press) and with front-end development in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.Web operations and organizational management: getting businesses to incorporate web strategies into their daily operating procedures. This includes designing content, user experience, work flow programs, online project management tools, etc.
