Analyze and approve Authorizations for Expenditure (AFE) requests for the construction or abandonment of interstate natural gas facilities and submit annual Federal Energy Regulatory Committee (FERC) Blanket Certificate and replacement reports for regulated pipelines.Prepare FERC certificate applications and prior notice requests for facilities that do not qualify under blanket certificate authorization. Work closely with internal environmental staff to ensure species, environmentally sensitive areas, historical preservation, and environmental justice requirements are met.
