Strategic implementation of public relations strategies, with one campaign reaching news and media outlets such as People Magazine, Huffington Post Canada, USA Today, Forbes and the New York Post. Liaise with local and national media (i.e., the Globe and Mail, CTV News, and the Toronto Star). Create a unified brand and communications strategy, which involves the implementation of original content, videos, infographics, print materials, and social media content.

Work with senior communications leads to develop a strategic communication plan and document for the launch of an applied education research office at St. Michael’s Hospital. Coordinate, design, and manage the communications leading to the research office launch. Arrange logistics for the launch event, and provide support for education researchers, hospital stakeholders, and the extended (Our Shared Purpose, now Unity Health Toronto) network. Draft and design documents for multiple year-end donor and fundraising reports.

Facilitate tests & projects for (90) students studying Introduction to Professional Communication. Deliver administrative support for students and the Faculty of Communication & Design staff.

Organize and teach a series of workshops to both the Master of Professional Communications and Bachelor of Professional Communications cohorts at Ryerson University. Content includes introduction and advanced techniques using the Adobe Suite, and how to apply technical skills to branding, marketing, and the professional communications field.
