Formal acceptance as 1 of 51 Next Generation ACO’s in the country as well as participation in the Bundled Payment for Care Improvement Advanced Successful performance in the Medicare Shared Savings Program Enhanced, Bundled Payment for Care Improvement and Million Hearts Program which has led to nearly $50 million in savings. This has transformed the healthcare landscape for the greater Fredericksburg area and paved the way for continued at-risk financial contracts and participation in the CMMI REACH and TEAM Program. As these programs continue to evolve, so does the MWHC landscape with the same goal as CMS, to have the majority of Medicare beneficiaries in Value Based initiatives by 2030.This is a continued progression of our core principals of Population Health: Learning, Timing and Flexibility.
