Created a platform combining a employee-focused ESG system with a space management system enabling detailed metrics on corporate real estate utilization and open user feedback. This successful project went on to form the basis of its own company which was acquired by Tango Analytics.Managed a team of highly skilled developers to ensure high-speed delivery of required functionality, as well as providing technical leadership on architecture and devops engineering.During this time I also provided consulting services through YoppWorks to clients including Stanford University and the Chan-Zuckerberg Initiative, as well as providing Lightbend-certified training to teams including IBM, Capital One, Marriott International, USAA.

Designed, developed, and maintained software to allow customers to purchase local food from restaurants for pickup or delivery, and assist dispatchers to coordinate delivery of that food in a timely manner. Guided development decisions with a focus on scalability and reliability of the software, and speed and professionalism of the team.Responsibilities include a strong role in development and maintenance of the algorithm used to determine ideal food couriers and travel routes for food delivery, and a leadership role in architecture decisions and direction.Key technologies and techniques include Java, Python, SQL, Google App Engine, Amazon Web Services, service-oriented architecture, event-driven processing, continuous integration and continuous releasability.

Designed, developed, and maintained service-oriented and event-driven distributed solutions for data collection, management, and distribution to global Real Estate marketplaces. Assisted in maintenance of existing C# enterprise solution for Real Estate inventory and lead management.

Maintained and improved an existing J2EE enterprise solution for global inventory management, including present and past inventory, quality inspections, and inter-dealer trade solutions. Developed and maintained new solutions for a customer-facing marketplace as well as inventory distribution to existing marketplaces.

Responsible for Software Development, IT Administration, and TrainingDuring my two months I designed and created a public website, and created a CMS back-end to allow the staff at Metis Nation Saskatchewan - Eastern Region II to reach out to the community and keep them updated on new programs being offered. I was also responsible for posting regular updates on the site, providing computer training to the staff and community, and maintaining computers and technology for the staff.

Responsible for Software Development, IT Administration, and Data EntryOver two months I learned PHP, set up a small web server running on Linux, Apache, and MySQL, created a membership database with a convenient web interface to track the members of the region, and entered several thousand members to replace the existing paper file system.While doing this I was also responsible for day-to-day maintenance of the IT infrastructure including setting up and maintaining a wireless network, troubleshooting computer issues for staff, and providing any necessary training.
