Facilitate the campaign boarding process for new sales offices for various clients. Design and implement new processes to increase efficiencies and reduce errors. Ensure compliance with programs, practices, and controls to ensure that the sales offices are compliant with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements, as well as client and Cydcor guidelines. Provide training and coaching to sales offices and agents on client, Cydcor, and governmental standards. Proactively conduct audits to ensure that client specific policies are being followed by sales offices and their representatives.

I coordinated programming across three television stations (KETY, KCOY, KKFX) in the Santa Barbara, Santa Maria, San Luis Obispo area. This included verifying and updating correct program formats and coordinating the flow of information between the sales, news, and operations departments. Other duties included assisting the other traffic personnel in creating and validating the daily commercial logs and assigning copy to contracts.

As a Master Control Operator I programmed and operated the station’s automation system and related broadcast equipment; maintained the continuity of station programming, worked with various teams to ensure all commercial spots air within the specifications of their contract, executed the on-air log, tuned in satellite feeds and monitored on-air and the transmitter for FCC compliance. I also trained the new employees in the operations department in the necessary areas.

As a 4th degree black belt and Certified Instructor, I planned and developed martial arts classes and curriculum for students ranging from 4 years old to 70 - incorporating core tenets of perseverance, integrity, and self-control into the lessons.
