• Was responsible for accounting/reporting functions associated with the bank’s home loans servicing portfolio. Duties included: Posting monthly accruals for noninterest income (servicing fees, late fees, etc.). Reporting and explaining the month to month variances of overall servicing volume and several general ledger accounts. • Provided a monthly report of various loan expenses to various channels within the home loans department. Amortized various loan expenses over the life of loans. • Was solely responsible for all of the Education Loans’ accounting functions once the bank decided to exit the student loan industry, duties included: Oversee the sale of the $200M loan portfolio, reporting on the progress of the portfolio runoff, depositing money into DDA’s for loan disbursement, monthly GL reconciliation, and compiling loan sales reports.

Assisted borrowers with paperwork needed to apply for student loans; assisted in the tracking of promissory notes, resulting in expediting the student loan process.Called borrowers to counsel them on how to avoid defaulting on their student loans, resulted in avoiding the purchase of over $100k per week in defaulted student loans.
