Designed and implemented a service site for broker’s that allows real time access to data stored on our legacy VMS system. This site incorporates multiple web services to access VMS flat files as well as SQL Server data. The presentation layer is written in VB.NET and ASP.NET.Provided programming maintenance for a document distribution application that is responsible for providing dynamically generated legal documents to brokers.Responsible for providing maintenance and new content development for the corporate intranet as well as the company’s public web presence.Responsible for database design and modification of stored procedures and data transformation scripts using SQL Server 2000.Developed an XML based document delivery system for a high volume customer whose legal document requirements are outside of the scope of the system provided to the rest of our brokers. Assisted with the implementation of Microsoft Active Directory server. Responsible for the configuration and deployment of over 80 internet/intranet applications. These applications included centralized parts ordering systems, HR systems and systems used for scheduling production facility outages.Assisted with the development of procedures that streamlined and improved the process by which applications moved from their various development centers through the staging environments. This included a complete redesign of policies and procedures for the deployment process, enhancements and restructuring of change control, implementation of a ticket tracking system, and the introduction of CVS into the organization to better manage movement of code within the staging environments.Created a program to measure application metrics for senior management. These metrics included the amount of time to configure new applications, failed builds, failed configurations due to faulty documentation or code, etc. These metrics were grouped around the various development areas for measuring quality performance.Responsible for the management of three employees.

Worked on a small team tasked with providing high level design and implementation.Developed a DCOM server as a prototype for real time database monitoring. This application monitors a set of critical criteria such as inventory levels, sales quotas, etc and sends alerts to clients based on those rules.Developed an “in memory database” system using a combination of a 3rd party API and custom C++ objects. This system was developed primarily to provide communication between two separate software systems via another in house developed API.Provided some development and maintenance on the company’s main product written with GUPTA Windows.

Designed and developed an application using C++ that acted as a collection point for “Call Detail Records” generated during conference calls hosted on each bridge server. Each bridge server would send call data packets over a pre-defined port. This port was monitored by my application and the data written to an Informix database for data analysis. Developed various Java programs as “proof of concept” applications for management including the complete rewrite of the primary customer service and scheduling application used primarily in daily operations.Responsible for the management of four employees.
