January 3, 2016, I was in a car accident where I broke five ribs and ruptured my diaphragm. I spent 10 days in the hospital, underwent two surgeries, and spent several months actively trying to get my body back to normal. I am finally, just now, fully healed and I am ready to get back to work. I have taken the last seven months of absence from the working world to not only let my body heal, but I have also gained a fresh, new perspective on life. I now want to get back to what I do to support my family and myself in order to continually grow and create positive change in the world around me.I'm an electrical engineer with a focus in computers, electronics, industrial automation, and programming. I have been through all phases of the design process including design, testing, verification/validation, and customer sustaining. I am fairly good with a soldering iron when rework needs to be done. I work well on my own and with others, and I enjoy variety in my work. I also really enjoy getting my hands dirty with physical tasks.Specialties: -Design and troubleshooting of complex electrical circuitry. -Verification and validation of intricate circuit boards. -Industrial automation and control panel design. -The ability to work well with all types of electronics in any environment or situation. -Rework and modification of complicated electrical systems using many common soldering tools. -A vast background of programming in many different programming languages and styles.
