Travis attended Texas A&M University Corpus Christi, where he studied finance and earned his MBA. He has worked in the financial advisory industry for 10 years and is now Owner and President of Cruger Financial Services where he holds his series 7 & 66 licenses. He is the true definition of a servant leader, putting his community, clients, and staff first. Travis currently serves on multiple boards in the community. His mission is to give back to the community that he loves. He is currently the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Ronald McDonald House Charities South Texas, where he is heavily involved with adjunct committees and programs. He is also Vice President of the Corpus Christi Police Foundation, where he serves on many committees, one of which being chairman of the 30/30/30 Gun Raffle. Amongst many others Travis is also a board member of the Texas A&M University Corpus Christi Alumni Association. He and his wife, Allison, met while attending Texas A&M University Corpus Christi, and have been married for 7 years. They have a 5-year-old daughter, Lana, and a 3-year-old daughter, Sadie. Their daughters attend St. James Episcopal School, where Allison and Travis enjoy committing their time. The Crugers are members of Church of the Good Shepherd, where together they serve on the Evangelism Committee. They have co-chaired many events for the Corpus Christi Police Foundation as well as Ronald McDonald House Charities South Texas, including Breakfast with the Chief and Casa de Amor. They also enjoy volunteering at clay shoot benefits for the Corpus Christi Police Foundation, Wildlife in Focus, and Special Olympics Texas.
