Intern (E-Discovery)
- Worked closely with the Shanghai eDiscovery team on projects relating to all areas of the eDiscovery life cycle, including Computer Forensics, ESIP, and review/investigation management in Ringtail (FTI's proprietary document review platform). - Handled basic reviewer management on a major project concerning an internal investigation being conducted by a Shanghai branch of a Japanese bank, effectively utilizing both my Mandarin and Japanese language skills. - Conducted research on the most recent Chinese data security laws and how they impact firms conducting eDiscovery in China. Present findings to the greater eDiscovery team. - Helped devise and implement new changes to the East Asian language detection capabilities of Ringtail, allowing the eDiscovery team to more effectively handle the review of documents in those languages.
