I am an inquisitive and logically thinking person who thrives on interesting and involved projects and challenges..I enjoy fixing inefficiencies in systems that can be done better. I do my best to take my time and think through any possible outcome that could affect the designs functionality and possible outcomes with unexpected scenarios.I enjoy projects were I can learn something during the completion of a project as I find it gives me a stronger drive and motivation in the project.I have experience in dealing with :• Embedded programming• Electronic circuit design• Server programming and automation• Technical troubleshooting and fault-finding• Extreme environments and conditions• Product design• 3D modelling• User functionality and experienceMy experience in both Antarctica and on Marion island has taught me a unique perspective when it comes to designing equipment. These environments are extremely challenging for not only the people that live there but also the equipment I designed and maintained on the stations. Everything from static discharges to vast temperature changes and mechanical stresses that normally would not be a consideration for many designs had to be taken into account while designing and installing these systems. These factors coupled with the fact that the systems must run smoothly every day in very remote locations without problems or face losing data that can never be captured again provided me with a very interesting challenge and fulfilling experience while working on these stations. From my work in Western Digital in Thailand I have learnt the importance of safety and how to correctly implement those measures around extremely sensitive electronic systems in a factory environment. While for some applications these measures might be overkill, they are always good practices to use for device and product safety. The above experience I believe would be an asset to any company and I look forward to testing my skills in new and interesting environments.

My gap year after High school included setting up rides at every carnaval location, maintaining them as well as operating the rides when the carnival is open. Then packing them up and moving them to the next spot. With the hard manual labor it was a good year to grow up and get world knowledge, it also gave me the time to figure out what I wanted to study and where I wanted my life to go.
