Support on the following switches and equipment: Nortel 81C, 61, Option 11, Mitel 3300, Norstar, Meridian Mail, Enterprise manager, Interella and Port security on Cisco Switches.Perform on site and remote maintenance, programming and troubleshooting on Private Branch Exchange telephone and Voice Messaging systems.Perform Adds, Move, Changes (AMC’s) for PBX and Voice Messaging systems.Provide after-hours support for all telephone and voice messaging problems. Analyze and resolve Help Desk trouble tickets.Escalate problems within Voice Support, with Vendors technicians and Telco carriers, when needed, to ensure timely effective resolutionContinually monitor telecommunications systems and remove unneeded/unused resources.Train users and provide supporting documentations on telephone and voice mail operation.Analyze and resolve all problems related to telephone and voice messaging systems.

 Maintain Nortel Option 11, 11 mini, 51, 61, 81C, and Norstar Switches. Install CAT 3, 5, 5e, and CAT 6, fiber, and Cable sizes from 4pr-600pr Prepared patch cables, phone base cables, RJ 11 and RJ 45 jacks, patch panels, 110 and 66 blocks. Handled adds, moves, changes, and built attendance consoles, RDB, Speed call list, Ghost TN’s. Distribute SBC and AT&T calling cards to Executive, managers and sales staff. Establish Pin Numbers and analyze calling card records.  Interpret Blueprints for drops and cable tray installation. Responsible for toning, testing, and Labeling all connections. Provide up keep for the connection of five different sites with 500+ users. Prepare National and International videoconferences as well as supported and assisted with installation. PA system installation, AMPS, speakers and connected to phone switch Coordinates equipment installation and maintenance activities with operations to avoid disruption in communications and ensure efficiency of operations. Directly and indirectly supervises employees in Telecommunications. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
