2nd Battalion, 7th Cavalry, 1st Cavalry Division - Fort Hood, TX• Managed training and operations of a 42-soldier Battalion Fire Support Team• Led all personnel to qualify on all of their individual and collective tasks, including Artillery, Mortar, and Bradley live fire events• Trained, mentored and guided the professional development of 5 Company Fire Support Officers• Coordinated the management of personnel and resources to facilitate training and tasking requirements that supported both maneuver and fires battalions

2nd Battalion 12th Cavalry, 1st Cavalry Division - Fort Hood, TX and Kirkuk, Iraq• Led the Company Fire Support Cell and Company Intelligence Support Team for an infantry company while deployed to Kirkuk, Iraq• Gathered intelligence, planned and helped execute 12 operations that resulted in the capture of 2 High Value Individuals• Planned the expansion and training of the Kirkuk Combined Security Force, a partnered, multicultural unit comprised of Iraqi Army, Iraqi Police and Kurdish Peshmerga, from a company to battalion sized element, also serving as the Fire Support Officer• Generated reports of the Peshmerga incursion into Kirkuk and Day of Rage protests, ensuring the highest political and military leaders maintained awareness of these highly volatile situations• Promoted to First Lieutenant; Awarded the Army Commendation Medal for meritorious service during Operation New Dawn
