- Maintain sequence edits and inserting visual effects shots into the timeline- Manage and document the turnover of shots from editorial through to delivery including ingesting new media into pipeline- Ensure Shotgun is maintained with current shot counts, lineup and any retime instructions- Ensure that published shots conform to the current edit and perform basic QC checks- Prepare sequence edits for internal and client approvals when required- Create daily playlists and operate the screening room system for dailies- Perform shot specific colour corrections to match editorial reference when required- Perform shot retimes to match supplied editorial reference when required- Create rough shot mockups as proof of concept for artists and supervisors- Work in partnership with vfx teams and compositors to ensure shots are delivered to the very highest standard while maintaining schedules.

- Receive material (i.e. storyboard images, dialogue records, animation files, etc…) from applicable departments, import into editing software, and log and organize relevant details to ensure that required material is easily retrievable- Archive material (i.e. clips, cuts of sequences, etc…)- Perform regular backups of project and media.- Prepare material for delivery to various departments- Prepare QuickTime and DVD files of sequences for crew and Executive reference- Prepare reels for delivery to sound and music departments (i.e. QuickTime files, audio files, OMF files, Avid change notes, versioning documentation, etc…)- Prepare approved sequences for the animation production pipeline- Create storyboard assembly lists for the storyboard department, Etc…- Ensure that most up-to-date information is delivered to appropriate departments within required time frames- Ensure that members of the production team are kept up to date with editorial changes- Provide production team members with detailed change notes and related media- Perform additional editing-related tasks as required
