◉ Website reimplementation using Apache Wicket (http://www.evri.com) ‣ Designed and implemented the backend services architecture including Spring configuration, concurrent task execution, and Apache HttpClient connection pooling. ‣ Added AspectJ support for measuring and reporting performance metrics. ‣ Production server configuration, validation and tuning. ‣ Java team mentoring.◉ Technical lead, User Accounts and Personalization Service ‣ Responsible for design and development of restful data service to create and manage user and user personalization data. ‣ Implemented using the Ruby Merb framework (a more sane version of RoR.) ‣ API designed to fully support XML and JSON response formats. ‣ Service being used internally and by external 3rd party developers. ‣ Entire codebase developed using TDD methodology.◉ Backend data services ‣ Developed multi-stage data pipeline using Mule (an ESB) and the Spring framework. Pipeline responsible for importing, validating and normalizing data. ‣ Primarily responsible for rule driven data normalization as well as data collapsing. ‣ Introduced Groovy to improve efficacy of unit/integration testing. Later used for production portions of the pipeline. ‣ Implemented process in Ruby to parse and import entirety of Wikipedia database. ‣ Implemented process in Groovy to import Amazon data. Process able import from local XML data files or directly from AWS.

◉ In-flight live internet access ‣ Implemented web service for product purchasing, quota tracking and reporting. ‣ Implemented a captive portal using iptables. ‣ Developed tests and strategies to verify IP traffic quota limits. ‣ Implemented a store and forward Web-based instant messaging product.◉ Proxied in-flight email access product ‣ Developed custom DNS, POP3 and SMTP servers to enable native email client access. ‣ Implemented web mail product allowing business travelers access to their Microsoft Exchange corporate email accounts. ‣ Built ground based server using Weblogic J2EE container deployed to Sun Solaris connected to Oracle.

◉ Designed, developed and tested features for Deluxe Payment Protection Systems' core check verification product.◉ Experience with large Informix databases. Worked closely with DB admins to make changes to 1+ TB database.◉ Migrated existing call center application from console application to intranet delivered Swing Java applet.
