Senior Budget Manager

• Manages the financial operation of the Academic Affairs/Dean of the College division. • Primarily responsible for the management of AA/DOC division budgets including endowed, undesignated, grant and award budgets. Advises department chairs, program directors, executive staff, and division committees on budget management. • Prepares detailed budget projections, manages and monitors current year budgets. • Represents the AA/DOC division on the Budget Coordinating Committee—a campus-wide committee of key financial administrators charged with providing timely, accurate, and complete budget information to the Budget Work Group and the executives of the college. • Is one of four staff representatives of the AA/DOC division on the Budget Work Group—a campus-wide work group charged with advising the president and key executives of the college on matters relating to budget—tuition, faculty and staff salaries, etc. • Responsible for record-keeping regarding faculty FTE, salary changes and trends, as well as special programs such as Agnes Advantage. • Responsible for managing financial processes of the division—authorizations to hire, contracts, reimbursements, payments, funds transfers, purchasing card, etc. • Facilitates the work of the faculty-led committee on professional development. • Provides periodic updates and background information to college advancement on the use of designated funds
