Deviation Management for Oral Dose Solids quality team. Investigating deviations from SOP and Work Order Standards in order to provide Root Cause Analysis to Quality Assurance and Clients. Developing Corrective and Preventative Actions with a multifunctional team to resolve deviation issues.

Lead supplier quality projects to include complaint management and corrective actions for supplier defects. Manage internal quality complaints within injection molding, assembly, plastics decoration and painting processes. Report scrap management and quality projects to corporate quality leadership. Manage customer complaints, lead corrective action projects and report to customers on defect resolution and preventative actions.

Manage staffing for 24/7 injection molding manufacturing for Styrofoam packaging. Lead certification effort for ISO 9001 certification. Develop work instruction for technicians and packing employees. Train new employees on job duties and perform evaluations. Manage facilities and equipment to ensure on time production of product. Lead quality efforts for new customer projects and PPAP approval.

Provide production support for Final Verification Testers modifications & performanceimprovements. Collaborates with Engineering and Quality on specific improvement projects. Develops and improves production assembly lines (jigs, fixtures, etc). Collaborates with manufacturing teams (quality, production and engineering) to develop new processes in compliance with product specification requirements as necessary. Provide support to production setters to improve change over times. Write and maintain programs for CNC milling and pad printing equipment for production use, maximizing efficiency and product quality. Creates test programs in Final Verification Testers to include robotics programming for touch sensitivity testing, camera settings for visual testing and inspection, and electronic part number and software recognition. Provides detailed scrap analysis on high risk production issues. Leads Kaizen workshops, SMED events and implements Lean Manufacturing techniques to promote continuous improvement.

Develop and maintain set up procedures and operating work instructions. Develop and maintains process history tracking system. Coordinate lean manufacturing processes throughout department through 5S activities, SMED events and train department employees on lean manufacturing principles. Manage staffing for 3 shifts plastics decoration department and ensure labor accuracy. Monitors COGI (Automatic Goods Handling Error) reports in SAP and correct inventory issues as they occur. Develop and maintain overlays, style masters, films for clichés and verify customer artwork and style masters meet drawing requirements. Collaborate with the Assembly department to ensure on time delivery for finished goods. Collaborate with the Molding department to ensure proper feedback of quality concerns. Drive continuous improvement throughout the department. Manage department CapEx proposals to improve operations through ROI calculations and analysis.

The primary purpose of this position is to operate and perform maintenance on small single- and two-color printing presses and related printing equipment for a fast-paced printing and graphics department. Secondary responsibilities include training and operation of bindery equipment such as a high-speed collating and saddlestitching system and industrial-type binding equipment used to fold and trim books, brochures, posters, and other printed material. Candidates should possess a valid NC driver's license and be eligible to operate a state-owned vehicle in accordance with the ECU property policy. Overtime will be required as needed.

Create and maintain a database to log and track printing jobs throughout the company. Maintain inventory of printing supplies and consumables.
