An MSS Senior Security Engineer is a member of Security Operations for Trustwave Managed Security Services (MSS) business. In addition to possessing deep technical knowledge, a Senior Security Engineer interacts extensively with customers and partners using polite professional etiquette while performing the following duties:• Took responsibility for customer satisfaction and overall success of managed services (2000+ field devices)• Strong TCP/IP networking skills to perform network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose advanced problems• Configure, manage, and upgrade FW, IDS, IPS, Vulnerability Scanning platforms and their management systems.• Analyze and respond to security events from FWs, IDS, IPS, AV and other security data sources.• Tool and script creation.• Act as the ‘last stop’ escalation point.• Solely responsible for maintaining all field devices at a unified version.• Lead special projects to enhance Trustwave service delivery capabilities.• Work along side development teams for product acceptance testing and sign off.• Mentor Security Engineers and Analysts through individual and group training sessions.
