I am a counselor and business litigator who has represented clients ranging from individuals to Fortune 500 companies in state and federal court, as well as in mediation and arbitration. My experience spans a wide range of subject areas, including complex commercial litigation, contract disputes, intellectual property, insurance, financial services, and employment law.I am active in the New York City Bar Association, where I currently serves on the New York State Courts of Superior Jurisdiction Committee. I am also a long-standing member of the Federal Bar Council, where I serve as Assistant Treasurer, as a member of the Editorial Board of the Council’s Quarterly journal, and as a member of the Council’s Inn of Court.I am an active supporter of my community and the arts. I am a member of the Board of Directors of Music on the Inside (MOTI), a non-profit connecting youth and adults impacted by incarceration with professional musicians as teachers and mentors to bring hope and healing through the transformative power of music.

I practice general, complex commercial litigation for a broad range of financial services, energy, construction, and insurance companies . My cases are in state and federal court , at the trial and appellate levels, as well as in arbitration and mediation, in New York and elsewhere. I assist clients with issues including contract disputes, banking regulations, and environmental statutes.I maintain an active pro bono practice that is focused on providing a broad set of transactional and litigation services to nonprofit organizations. Separately, I assist residential tenants with eviction issues.
