As the VP of Engineering at Orpyx® my primary responsibility is the realization of the technology that powers Orpyx's industry pioneering wearable devices. Orpyx wearable devices require a comprehensive technology stack ranging from advanced pressure sensors and embedded systems to big data and machine learning, all of which are designed and supported by Orpyx employees. During my tenure at Orpyx, I have overseen and contributed to all aspects of the development of a number of trial and commercial devices including the SurroSense Rx®, the SurroGati Rx and Orpyx LogR™ with my proudest moment being the completion of a three year clinical trial of the SurroSense Rx® that demonstrated a 71% reduction in the rate of ulceration for people with diabetes.
