Also, at Emerging New Media, a subdivision of TNB, we handle businesses' online presence using Social Media Optimization along with Search Engine Optimization to drive traffic to their websites and store locations. Home Staging is Real Estate Merchandising - it is "the art of preparing & packaging a home (or business) and getting it ready to be placed on the market for sale". The primary focus in staging a property is converting it into a Marketable "Product".

I helped manage the start-up of this new 'green' retail store from construction to grand opening. I researched and contacted prospective suppliers for the distribution of their products in Hawaii. That forced me to document my questions and build a structure for subsequent employees to utilize so they remain consistent. I built marketing materials for in-store displays and brochures. I helped design ads and promotional offers for special events. I manage their social networking sites, and other public relations related work. I helped build a pricing strategy for the products based on the special shipping rates for Hawaii. I managed 3 interns on product research. I also developed a basic recycling program for the store, in hopes of staying true to being green. There are too many things to list as I basically ran the store, minus bookkeeping.
