Server Engineer III (2018)Migrated from Cisco UCS Blade infrastructure using Vmax 20k storage to new hyper converged Nutanix stack. Also migrated our virtual machine backup software from Commvault and Vranger over to Rubrik Backup and Archive software.(2010-2018)Implemented Cisco UCS Blade server infrastructure, along with 2 EMC Symmetrix Vmax arrays. GM Online Helpdesk Agent, GM Account, External Helpdesk Agent providing messaging, software hardware and networking technical support in a helpdesk environment for companies such as General Motors, Saturn Corporation, State of Michigan and EDS.Worked as a Tech. Lead for the GM Online Windows 2000 migration, accomplished migrating over 80,000 PC’s from Windows 95 to Windows 2000 platform. Duties included site server setup, migration scheduling, data backup and restore, pc imaging, managing migration technicians’ workloads and progress.Worked a temporary assignment for the State of Michigan thru EDS contract. The contract involved the upgrade and installation of office 2000 and various other pc upgrades on about 2000 machines.Onsite support at GM Grand Blanc Metal Center supporting PCs, Printers, PLC PCs, and Network hardware.
