Designed and led implementation of the OpenCASE Media Agent, a client-resident application that managed the provision of video content from the OpenCASE back-end and exposed library functionality to custom video players and third-party applications via .NET remoting, COM and ActiveX.Contributed to the launch of download video services for Cablevision, Treehouse TV, NBC and other high profile clients.Designed and developed an interactive television application for Bell ExpressVu and TSN, called TSN Extra, providing news, stats and scores through a customer’s set-top box. The ITV application was developed in C using the proprietary OpenTV framework on the Echostar set-top box. The ITV application and data was streamed from ExpressVu’s broadcast head-end using a custom Windows application written in C++.
