SR PROJECT MANAGERHCL - SUPPORTING ENTERGY Dec 2016 - present• Manage multiple concurrent IT infrastructure projects through the full project life cycle following Entergy PMO guidelines.• Responsible for managing project scoping, proposal creation, financials (forecasting, accruals, invoice verification), design, testing, production deployment, and hand off to Operations.• Producing and updating project deliverables and artifacts for each stage of the project (Charter, Project Plan, schedule, risk & issues register, iSoW, etc).• Provide management insight into project status and progress against cost and schedule baselines through weekly status reports and meetings.REPRESENTATIVE PROJECTS• Installed 6 Oracle Exadata systems to host Entergy’s Oracle databases. Included sizing, procurement, installation, built and deployed into production. Upgraded and migrated over 200 databases from Solaris servers to the Exadata platform. This required application configuration changes and testing in the lower environments (smoke, integration, & regression). Negotiating with the BU for outages, communicating with end users, migrating and testing (performance & UAT) of PROD databases. This was a 3 year $5M program.• Deployed new application servers, built new Oracle databases in Exadata, and deployed an upgraded version of the Autosys application. Negotiated across all BU’s for an outage of >18,000 scheduled jobs and successfully completed the production cutover on schedule and within budget.• Migrated email from 9 Solaris SMTP relay servers to MS Exchange and decommissioned the legacy hardware.
