In 2012, I sold my small, grass-roots travel lacrosse company (Illini Nations Lacrosse; a spin-off of Morton Lacrosse Club) into a merger with Naperville based New Wave Lacrosse. Allowing for greater capabilities, and growth opportunities to TAM/SAM/SOM.In 2017, after holding a hospice marketing and sales position, I joined the healthcare firm Helping Hands Home Health Care and Staffing. I launched Elysian Hospice under the Helping Hands Home Health Care umbrella, became JHACO and medicare accredited and the company is still successful today. This allowed us to create synergies and an ecosystem that had the potential to compete and scale in the market.In 2018, Co-launched Aiding Angels group, a 501(c)3 and established lines for funding to assist in burial costs.I loved every one of those opportunities on my journey and am proud of their successes. However, I recognized in order to become the leader I aspire to be and deliver at the level I desired then I needed to step back and step up. I wanted to become more fluent in analytics and I have been able to achieve this in my current role as a Pricing Analyst. In January of 2020, I stepped up by enrolling for my MBA at The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and have an expected graduation date of December 2022.
