Implementation of new PHP based REST JSON services on in-house framework, as well as re-implementation and maintenance of existing SOAP services. Heavy focus on transactional systems such as shopping cart, payment processing, fraud detection, and the transaction lifecycle. Also includes integration of APIs with Symfony based applications.Moved accounting and revenue recognition integration from customized self hosted EBS instance to cloud based Oracle Fusion middleware.Played an integral role in service updates and integration as part of a successful rewrite and roll out of ussearch.com, a branded site receiving 150k+ visits per day, as well as the in progress rewrite of intelius.com. My roles included determining status of existing SOAP APIs, update / create new as necessary. Significant work was needed as many holes were found in existing services that prevented complete end to end functionality.Built a full featured framework to support moving our existing codebase towards REST services including self documenting re-usable components, type checking, etc...Primary maintainer of current production intelius.com codebase.Profiled existing core systems to reduce number of SQL queries per day by 75%. Provided a measurable performance improvement (in some cases 2x) for a handful of API endpoints.

Very large project scopes with heavy importance placed on well constructed test plans.Write automation with Java based WebDriver utilizing a custom integration platform based on Ant. Focus on creating the automation from an object oriented framework standpoint, allowing heavy re-use of classes.Prior to switching to WebDriver, wrote and maintained automation with Selenium IDE. Expanded functionality allowing for data driven tests with javascript based extensions, including rollups and UI elements.
