Sky Dev Solutions is a company that I created to support my work as an independent software contractor.As an independent contractor and software developer, I worked at Berkley Technology Services, LLC from February 2018 to March 2019 on an insurance underwriting software application. I worked on a team of about 15 people that included business analysts, software developers, testers, and a scrum master. I worked on a large web application to provide features for multiple internal company locations. I primarily used C#, ASP.NET, Jetbrains Rider, and SQL Server for development on the application.

Associated Computer Systems (ACS) is a consulting company that provides hardware and computer services to small and medium-sized businesses. ACS also provides custom application development consulting to its customers as well.As a software consultant on a small team of 3 developers, I worked with our sales team to provide software solutions to our clients. My role involved working with several different clients in many different industries such as agriculture, logistics, government, banking, and healthcare, and developing software solutions to addressed simple to very complex problems. I typically worked on many different projects at the same time and I was usually the only developer working on the project. I also worked with clients to analyze business requirements, design new systems, train users of the new system, and provide support for the application after it was deployed.As the only developer on any given project that I worked on, I was solely responsible for handling new feature requests, developing the application, manually testing and deploying the application to the client's environment, as well as addressing any bugs in the application.Most of the applications that I developed were using languages and technologies such as C#, JavaScript, ASP.NET, Visual Studio, and SQL Server.

Mirenco is a heavy-duty diesel emission testing company that provided products and services that were designed to diagnose engine issues and improve fuel efficiency.About 50% of my work was dedicated to administrating the company's small network infrastructure where I maintained servers, addressed user computer issues, and handled any network related support tasks.The other 50% of my work was focused on software development on multiple web applications. I managed and updated the company website on a regular basis. I also completely developed a mobile-friendly web application using C#, ASP.NET MVC, Visual Studio, and SQL Server that was used by customers to view fuel efficiency reports.
