As the team lead, I maintain weekly one-on-ones with the members of my team, and make sure that all their projects are going according to the time tables that I set for them. Since we merged companies, I've been responsible for making sure that all of the different monitoring software is capturing and relaying the information to the appropriate teams on both sides. This includes nagios, solarwinds, Pingdom, New Relic, and vsphere.With the merger, we had to merge the two separate instances of jira across both companies into one Unified jira. We also are working on self-healing commands that will resolve lower-level issues within the infrastructure automatically based on monitoring. working on expanding our scope into a level 2 roll across the company helping with teams such as Network, Unix, Windows, Application Support, DevOps and the Security team. My team also are admitting the net backup instant across both companies.

As an application support engineer I worked many different roles within my company. We set up and maintained monitoring using IPM and APM monitoring tools. primarily we were monitoring with nagios, pingdom, appdynamics, solarwinds, and vsphere.l was also doing a lot of different service desk projects. Password resets, helping troubleshoot user applications, running sql scripts to update applications for users, and helping triage outages with all of the various different teams.I also helped establish the escalation process for the company, as well as working to ensure everyone schedule was correct.

The Tech Talent South Boot Camp has taught me lots about how to develop with Ruby on Rails. The instructor was great about teaching everyone how to develop different web apps, teaching lots of skills like how to create and read api's, how to utilize different gems in ruby to our advantage, and how to work with a group and using github. Lots of skills in sql, jquery, javascript, html, scss, materialize, ruby, and linux, and git. We also pushed the site live to get it running. Dallas/Fort Worth Area

At Carlisle and Gallagher, I work for our different clients on various projects, giving me a wide array of skills. While working here I have become skilled at using Macros and Excell and writing Visual Basic for Applications to help with forecasting, with database management, and to improve processes for everyone using my tools. I have learned a lot about how to help managers with fielding questions pertaining to the project, and how to keep my co-workers engaged and having fun during the project. I have used various different project specific software and enjoy the change of pace environment, teaching the benefit of being able to learn new concepts quickly and to be flexible with client change in direction.

At Lincoln Financial, I had a plethora of different duties at my job. I learned a lot of different software to run reports for my boss, I also learned how to edit websites and how to communicate professionally with the back end developer. I created a variable annuity matrix and a private money manager matrix which involved lots of research. I organized a client appreciation event with the Sixth Floor Museum in downtown Dallas, and created and audited a client survey to guide the decisions for the business in 2014. Weekly correspondence with clients and vendors taught me how to speak on the phone professionally and the importance of having a good attitude.

As a manufacturing specialist, I assembled various products for Es Tech Systems to ship to customers. I was very familiar with the warehouse and knew how to maintain an efficient amount of products before receiving orders to ship. I also trained other staff to do certain tasks such as programming phones, fixing products and completing repairs.

I assisted students with moving in and becoming situated to their new environment at Baylor University. I helped during the year with monitoring the dormitory, helping students when they were locked out of their rooms, and checking out equipment such as spare keys, vacuums and athletic equipment to students.

Dallas/Fort Worth Area

Northwestern Mutual was a good way for me to learn about the insurance and financial services industry. I created a client base of about 100-200 people over the summer, learned and implemented sales language, taught people why saving now instead of later is important and the importance of disability insurance, and made a couple of contacts at Northwestern Mutual. It was a good experience and a great way for me to learn about that part of the industry.

I oversaw the refereeing of the campus intramural sports. I trained other peers over the rules for all of the sports that we have at Baylor Intramurals. I attended meetings and gave my input on how to run the sports more efficiently. I gave reports to referees to keep them up to standards and helped them with problems on rules or how to handle hot headed players.
