My name is Travis Torres and I have been a passionate software developer since the age of 13. Over the years I have acquired a large range of skills that I have found to make me extremely efficient and highly adaptable.I have created applications in a wide range of areas including game development, social networking, 2D sprite animation desktop software, linux scripts, Sedona Office analysis tools and much more. Over the past two years I have worked full time as the lead software developer for a fire alarm company, primarily building third-party software which interfaced with their billing database; however, I've also developed software to promote a paperless work environment.One of my greatest strengths is my versatility. After being exposed to so many technologies, I have acquired a greater understanding of the full software development stack. This goes for both Desktop and Web-based software systems. During my time at my current job, there have been times that I've needed to assist other developers with troubleshooting issues that were occurring within the software architecture. I've found that 3 out of 5 times, when a developer is stuck on an issue they cannot troubleshoot, it is because they do not fully understand the technologies that they are working with. Being that I have worked with each area of the development stack, I am able to quickly troubleshoot the problem and provide an educated solution to the problem.
