Among a team of individuals I am responsible for multiple environments to include regular patching, configuration, architecture of current and future systems. This includes AWS, Meraki internal networks, virtualization infrastructure (VMWare, AWS, VDI), Microsoft and Linux environments, configuration management and automations via scripting and Ansible. Design, procurement, buildout and maintenance of organization's monitoring and alerting system. Logging pipelines (winlogbeat, logstash, Kibana, ELK, S3, cloudtrail, etc). Maintain several global VMware environments which includes HA configurations leveraging Veeam, PureStorage arrays, geo replication and backups for enhanced DR.

I serve as the Systems Administrator alongside a team of individuals where my main focus is maintaining, architecting, designing and implementing cloud infrastructure, associated networks between on-prem and cloud and a wide array of cloud technologies including Office 365, Atlassian Suite, Crowdstrike, Cisco Umbrella, Tenable and SumoLogic.My focus is leaned more towards the security and infrastructure side of the environment monitoring logs, configuring and monitoring log alerts, Crowdstrike review and remediation, security questionnaires and audits. Research, test and implementation of automated deployments of security tooling to ensure coverage through the organization.

As the Information Systems and Security Administrator, I am responsible for all Information Systems assets from cloud infrastructure, networking, security implementations, endpoints and application deployments / security across multiple public cloud tenants. Leveraging SSO, 2FA and automation of security best practices to allow rapid growth with little overhead while enforcing security polices through all layers of the information systems landscape to reduce risk.Among these initiatives, help Lucerna's workforce be ever efficient with documentation, training and support across all IS/IT platforms.

I serve as the Systems Administrator alongside a team of individuals who support the business' needs and growth by aligning Security, Responsiveness, Uptime and Growth. Utilizing technologies such as cloud computing, hybrid virtualized environments nationwide. Collectively with the IT team, I help plan and implement Information Systems to support these goals, while analyzing the entire environment for improvements and preventative maintenance. Documenting processes and implementation strategy to better nourish the growth for the rest of our team.Utilizing all communication channels via IM, Email, phone and in person, keeping the chain of command updated on current projects and tasks. Prioritizing items with higher need and support of the company.Currently I manage, document, support and scale server and infrastructure across multiple sites and cloud hosting providers throughout the country. Utilizing VPN's, redundant ISP's, HA systems, serverless technologies for maximum uptime and infrastructure resiliency. Project manage, oversee and implement server migrations from one hosting partner to another or from on-site infrastructure to AWS.

Monitor centralized cloud hosted anti-virus for threats and patterns. Maintain WSUS server ensuring Windows Updates get pushed to workstations. Regular upkeep of Google Apps for business including user accounts, groups, domains, Google Sites and permissions. Administering Microsoft AD environment, DHCP, DNS, domain controller AD replication between in-house and cloud domain controllers. Perform tasks in SQL server 2008, 2012 and 2014 including user mappings, backup and restores and cleanliness. Perform tasks in Microsoft IIS to include SSL renewals, IP allow and deny rules, redirects, permissions and live to dev syncs. Works with enterprise grade wireless infrastructure to ensure 100% coverage throughout building. Performs minor work with outside clients and access to live and development environments.Plan and maintain internal and external client DRP's from a small to medium sized business scope to Enterprise scope and planning / testing. Maintain company VPN, logging and uptime. Utilize redundant monitoring of systems for 99% uptime. Built out company WDS infrastructure and custom images for fast imaging of company workstations. Maintain all documentation as it pertains to company's IT assets and intellectual property. Ensure best practice security measures are enforced and policies kept up-to-date.

Travel to Client sites to perform proactive duties for client’s infrastructures. Maintains Server health by monitoring and reporting to identify trends and problematic areas. Performs Line of Business upgrades, patching, and documentation of these processes. Performs network monitoring to identify slow points and offer solutions to improve. Takes ownership over client infrastructures and consistently updates stakeholders with progression and status. Reviews current network, hardware and software status and makes recommendations for improving. Involved with and documents large scale projects including Exchange to Office 365 migrations, server decommissions and replacements and major Line of Business software installations.

Responsible for resolving reactive technical issues for clients reported by phone, email or ticket portal. Uses ConnectWise ticketing system to track and document all steps taken to resolve or escalate issue. Consistently meets the goals of the company by maintaining 95% or higher customer satisfaction rating. Uses LabTech RMM software to monitor uptime and health status of client hardware, installed software and updates. Performs reactive maintenance across a wide range of industry favorite platforms including Windows XP, 7, 8, Server 2003, 2008, 2012, VMWare and among a multitude of client specific Line of Business software. Utilizes contact by phone and email to coordinate and work with clients to resolve issues effectively and timely.
