Lead Graphic Label DesignerAmresco Aug 2008 - Present--Lead my department during a transition where the label design function became its own department. Label Design became the department responsible for maintaining all aspects of design and compliance with EU, GHS and American standards for chemical labeling. This also included ensuring review and approval was obtained through our document control process for every label that went through change control.--Set up a label quarantine process to verify label integrity before incoming labels went into inventory.--Created a database and procedure for product inserts to ensure the correct insert was being used for the correct product.--Responsible for writing and maintaining training manuals for every process in the department.--Revised the label database that is used by our Labeling Department to better assist the department in their job functions.--Responsible for reviewing and approving bill of materials through our document control process.--Responsible for creating an Access Database which contained all customer specific information to prevent errors from manual entry on product labels. -
Production Control TechnicianPatio Enclosures Inc Feb 2006 - Jul 2008--Responsible for bill of material setup and maintenance which included writing visual basic script to ensure orders are released to the production floor correctly and making any necessary adjustments to current bills. --Aid the Production Control department in pulling information from the manufacturing software into an Access database to make reporting necessary information readily available when needed.
