• Risk assessment and evaluation of products and materials according to the requirements of the EU product safety legislation, various product specific regulations and REACH.• Certification scheme responsible.

• Regulatory support related to daily operations and projects• Coordination of product approvals with external laboratories and consultants

• Factory inspections related to VOC certification scheme for evaluation of site-implemented production and quality systems

• Primary professional focus: VOC emission product testing according to i.a. ISO 16000 / EN 16516 test standards evaluated against legal and eco-label requirements as well as various sustainability systems.• Secondary professional focus: Biocidal product testing in accordance with the biocidal product regulation (BPR, 528/2012)Main tasks within the above:• Consulting with clients on:-• guidance within technical and legal options for achieving specified goals-• establishing optimal test strategy-• identifying relevant test methods-• interpretation of test data• Risk Assessment • Quality assurance• Reporting of results• Keeping up to date with regulatory developments• Interpretation of legal texts and test standards• Advise and support international colleagues• Facilitate internal knowledge sharing• Trouble shooting of complaint cases• Project management of internal projects

• Monitor, analyze and report error-patterns of a newly installed robotic sorting and storage system to technicians, engineers and managers• Ad hoc assignments related to performance-optimizations of the system

• Teaching groups of 1-6 course participants the basics of kite surfing equipment and techniques for them to venture out and continue learning on their own

• Recruiting of new student-members to the union through instructive and outreaching work at Aarhus University• Plan, arrange and host social and study-related events for new and existing members of the union• Partake in board meetings to promote cooperation within the union to archive larger economic and member-related foundation for events, etc.
