This included Active Directory, Exchange, Terminal Services, and splitting of the services in the Distribution Center (DCU) in Oakland, CA.o Worked with Manufacturing and IT business managers to scope projects, assign resources to a project and manage the project through to implementation.o Managed existing Qimonda North America's highly available VMware farm (around 150 servers) and continually looking for opportunities to migrate or implement on this architecture to save money on hardware as well as Microsoft Windows Server licensing.o Managed the infrastructure migration of the Qimonda DCU move from Oakland, CA to Sandston, VA by moving key servers to VMware and saving Qimonda $20,000 in hardware costs, and allowing the DCU to seamlessly move sites without any major reconfiguration changes.o Managed and participated in the consolidation of a legacy Citrix Metaframe Server farm into newer Citrix Presentation 4.x Server farm

• Responsible for over 900 Windows servers in a manufacturing environment• Managed the implementation of new servers for new 300mm factory that utilized a Windows infrastructure• Worked with global AD team to design standards for a new Infineon and Qimonda Active Directory Domain• Managed Microsoft DNS, WINS, and DHCP in a global environment• Migrated all users, desktop PC's and servers from local Windows NT domain to a global Infineon and then Qimonda domain• Responsible for patching all servers with all latest Microsoft and hardware patches, scheduling downtime with customers and presenting changes to Change Control Board (CCB). • Implemented a clustered NetApp Filer (FAS940) solution for Dept Shares and Home drives using a Near Store (R200) for backups and disaster recovery.• Connect highly available servers via Fiber Channel to EMC shared DMX space and used SRDF-CE for clustering to different data centers and different EMC DMX using Microsoft majority node clustering.• Worked to save money on hardware cost by reducing Qimonda’s hardware imprint by 25% deploying a clustered VMWare environment between two datacenters. I later expanded this project saving the company over $50,000 in hardware support annually and over $500,000 in hardware tech refresh.• Managed Exchange 5.5 and 2000 systems before migrating/consolidating all of North America's user base to Dresden, Germany in efforts to save Qimonda over $1 Million US.• Responsible for all windows server backups with VERITAS BackupExec and later migrating to EMC Networker• Used VB Scripting to perform repetitive Administrative tasks.
