Julie is an Associate Attorney with the firm. She is from Oakland, California, and obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Education from The University of California, Santa Cruz. Julie relocated to Florida in 2007 to attend law school at Nova Southeastern University. During law school, Julie focused on family law litigation and environmental law, working in the Children’s Advocacy Unit at Legal Aid of Broward County, and serving as Vice President of the Environmental Law Society. Since her admission to the Florida Bar, Julie has worked in a variety of industries in several traditional and non-traditional roles, including insurance defense litigation, family law, business law, healthcare law, and business administration. Her inspiration to become a lawyer stemmed from a passion for helping people and her father’s career as a lawyer.Julie spends her time away from work caring for her twin boys and daughter, as well as enjoying musical theater and watching movies. Her favorite quotes are, “One day at a time,” and “Nothing worth having is easy.” While growing up, Julie wanted to be a teacher.
