Having just recently joined Procad Engineering my responsibilities within the organisation will include the preparation of construction drawings for planning and tender stages of projects across a wide range of sectors including Education, Food and Beverage, Distillery, and Pharmaceutical. These designs will all be developed either in 2D through the use of AutoCAD or in the case of 3D designs using Autodesk Revit.In addition to the design work, my role will also involve the preparation and procuring Planning, Fire Safety and Disability Access certificates. Liaising with Local Authorities,creating and issuing tender documentation, administrative and clerical work etc.

In my role here I dealt with one off houses and extensions. My duties included developing design ideas. Preparing drawings for planning and construction stages of projects ensuring they complied with Irish building regulations. Preparing and submitting planning applications and tender packages. producing window and door schedules. Mainly working on AutoCAD generating 2D drawings and Google sketch up creating 3D models. Helping with the day to day running of the office.
