As a Social Emotional Learning Lead at Uplift Education, I create and enact SEL curriculum for grades K-5, supporting the academic and social development of over 900 students. I also collaborate with teachers and administrators to provide SEL training and coaching, enhancing their skills and confidence in delivering SEL instruction. I hold a M.S. Ed from Johns Hopkins University School of Education, where I specialized in Elementary Education and Teaching, and a B.A. in Sociology and Anthropology from Hobart and William Smith Colleges. I am also certified in the Science of Teaching Reading and ESL.My core competencies include social networking, education, interpersonal communication, and data analysis. I am passionate about promoting SEL in education and empowering students and educators to thrive in a diverse and inclusive environment. I am always eager to learn new skills and strategies to enhance my practice and impact. My goal is to leverage my SEL expertise and teaching experience to create positive and lasting change in the education sector.
